The Royal Fire™ Heat Powered Stove Fan is a must have for heat circulation and distribution for your room via your stove.

Simply place the Heat Powered Stove Fan onto your Stove and let the fan do all the work. It does not require any batteries or powering of any kind. The fan will circulate and optimise the airflow to the rest of your room more efficiently, generating more warmth and covering more areas to your room.

Your Stove Fan must be placed on a flat and level surface, with the fan blades free to rotate. Please ensure the fan is placed in this correct position before lighting the stove. Stoves get really hot, they are designed too, when in use your Stove Fan will get hot and circulate hot air.
Stove fans are highly attractive as well as functional and will draw attention to onlookers, therefore please ensure that any elderly, infirm, children or pets are supervised during operation.
It is not recommended to move the fan whilst in operation unless to remove in the event of the stove over firing, in this instance always wear gloves to protect against burns or contact with the blades. Do not cause obstruction to the fan blades, this could damage the Fan or the item in contact with the fan.

Carefully remove the Fan from the packing and position on a smooth level surface to the side of the flue pipe ensuring the blades rotate freely, the top section must not be touching any hot surfaces.
The Fan operates from around 100°C to around 340°C – the optimum operating temperature is 250°C. At the base of the fan there is a Bi-Metallic strip, this is a safety device which lifts the base of the stove when the temperature exceeds 250°C, this protects the motor and optimizes the overall operation and efficiency of the fan.
The fan will operate with any stove where the surface temperature does not exceed 340°C (644°F). Stoves exceeding this range may cause damage to the components. If in doubt, please check the stove operating manual or use a Stove Pipe Thermometer on the stove top.
The fan starts automatically as the surface temperature increases, and slows to a stop as the surface cools. Running any stove too hot or too cold may waste fuel and cause dangers to occupants, stove, flue or fan, consult a suitably qualified engineer or your stove vendor for further information.

Care and Maintenance

Problem Solving
If the fan looks to be vibrating, this may be due to the blades becoming out of alignment, when cold, slowly rotate the blades while observing the gap between the tip of each blade and the top. If one or more of the blades is out of alignment they can be carefully adjusted by holding the blades whilst applying slight pressure to the misaligned blade. Check and repeat this process as required.

In order for us to process your order for delivery the next working day, orders must be placed by 11am. Orders placed after this time will be processed the next working day for delivery the following day.

Our normal days for delivery are the working days of Monday through Friday, however, we may be able arrange a Saturday delivery for an extra surcharge. Please contact us for full details.

Deliveries to Scottish Highlands and West Coast of Scotland usually take up to 3 -5 extra working days on top of the delivery time stated underneath the product name.

Returns Policy for Cancelled Orders

DIY World Ltd t/as hope that you will be fully satisfied with your products; however, if you are not satisfied with your goods for any reason we are happy to accept returns in accordance with the policy below.

  1. We will only accept returns, with the exception of Special Order items, if they are sent back to us in suitable packaging within 14 days starting from day after receipt.
  2. You must notify us in writing that you would like to return your item within 14 days of receipt. Please complete our cancellation form which you can download here.
  3. If goods are to be returned for any reason other than manufacturing defects or damage, you will need to return the goods back to us, securely packaged and in the condition which they were received, at your cost via your chosen courier.
  4.    If you live in the United Kingdom you have a legal right to cancel your order after you have received and inspected the goods.
  5. Should you decide to return the products you must notify us of the cancellation in writing (by post to the address below or by email to marked “Returns”) within 14 working days of receipt of the goods.
  6. If returning goods you are under a legal duty not to use the products and to take care of them. This includes all packaging and labelling. Care must be taken to ensure that the goods remain in the best possible condition. Please take particular care with goods that are easily damaged or require erection or installation.  If you need guidance on the best way to inspect any item without damaging it, please contact us.
  7. No Statutory cancellation rights apply to products that have been specifically made to your requirements, design or measurements. Goods made to a customer’s specific order or measurements will not be accepted for cancellation or return. This does not affect your statutory rights relating to faulty or misdescribed goods. For further information about your statutory rights, contact your local Trading Standards Department or Citizen’s Advice Bureau.
  8. If you do not return the goods within 14 days of your cancellation notice, we may choose to recover the goods from you, and if we do so, to charge you for the cost of doing so.  If, despite sending a cancellation notice, you do not return the goods or fail to make them available for collection within 30 days of your notice of cancellation, you will be deemed to have accepted the goods, at which point a new purchase contract will be made, and if we have already granted a refund, you will be re-charged for your order at the price set out on the web site.
  9. When you return Goods to us in a condition which indicates that they have been used or attempted to be installed or erected after you have had a reasonable chance to inspect them, we will consider you to be in breach of your legal duty to take reasonable care of the goods and reserve the right to recover appropriate sums from you.
  10. Refunds will be processed within 14 days of receipt of any returned items.

Returns Policy for Damaged or Faulty Goods

  1. Upon receiving your goods, please check them as soon as possible and notify us if there is any damage or faults by email or telephone.
  2. You are entitled to inspect the goods, and we recommend that you do so thoroughly, however you can not return good as defective / damaged following the installation or erection of any Goods, unless the defect / damage was not ascertainable until after installation.
  3. All goods are inspected thoroughly before dispatch, and are deemed to be in a saleable condition upon dispatch.
  4. We hope that you will be fully satisfied with your products and we make every effort to ensure all our goods are of the highest standards. If for any reason you are not satisfied because they are faulty, we will be happy to accept a return from you in accordance with the following policy.
    5. We will confirm the collection date by email and arrange collection of the item. On receipt of the returned item and verification of your concerns, we will issue a refund or an exchange, whichever is your preference.
  5. Please include (where possible) with the Goods a copy of your internet invoice, cancellation notice (where applicable) or a written note of your name, address, e-mail address, order number and reason for return. This will speed up the process as we are able to identify the transaction.
